Kihikihi School - Learners today, Leaders tomorrow - He tangata ako, he whānau ako
Tēnā Koutou. Welcome to Kihikihi School
Kia ora. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa. Greetings and welcome to you all.
Kihikihi School is a full primary school (years 1 to 8) and provides both English and full immersion Māori medium educational opportunities for our students. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver a curriculum rich in culture, history and authentic learning contexts which is focused on the child's academic, social and emotional needs. We believe our learners today will become leaders of tomorrow.
Creating a whānau inclusive atmosphere, based on partnership and includes teaching and learning of our core values remains of high priority. Kotahitanga is reflected in the way we recognise individuality while working and learning together as one. Through our actions, thoughts and the way we communicate with each other develops a strong sense of Manaakitanga, building a caring, respectful and positive environment for all to thrive in.
Through the initiative of 'Positive Behaviour for Learning' our core values permeate through all areas of our kura, enriching students understanding of key competencies and providing them with the necessary skills to set them up for their future.
We welcome all enquires for new or prospective enrolments.
